All of my best friends have blogs so I guess it's about time for me to join in. I still refuse to get a Twitter account though.
I probably should have started this blog a long time ago. But I guess there weren't too many blogs around anyway. I've always enjoyed traveling so this seemed like a good idea for a blog. I could write about my travels. Not many people read blogs anyway, right? For me traveling is an interesting subject. Of course it's fun to see new places and do new things (or the old things someplace where no one knows you). And, I've done some of that. I have also lived in a lot of places. I guess it's because I never seem to be able to stay in the same place more than 7 or 8 years (or less). But, maybe that can be the subject for another blog post, if there are any more.
My current favorite place to travel is Mexico. But I have some ideas of quite a few other places I'd like to go soon. Last month I spent a couple of weeks in my "home away from home" of La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico. I will write about that some in my next blog. My wife will not be too happy though as she believes we have plenty of gringos in La Manz already.
I have re-read this and it is pretty much as boring as I thought it might be. But, it is just the beginning for me. My friend Bob has a great wine blog and Don has his Tucson blog that I think are fun to read. I aspire to be like them some day. :-) Until the next time... Nos vemos
